FAQ

When do new puzzles appear?

Every day at midnight, your local time: a new fortune cookie, word, fact, riddle and rebus. Missed a day? Open Past 7 days on the home screen to catch up on the last week.

How do I change the daily reminder or turn it off?

Open the menu and tap Daily reminder. Pick which daily game the reminder points to, or choose Off. The reminder arrives at 9:00 AM local time; the time can’t be changed in the current version. You can also turn notifications off in iOS Settings > Notifications > Zag’s Brain Games.

What are favorites, and are they kept?

Tap the heart on a puzzle to save it. Saved items appear under Favorites in the menu and stay there after they leave Past 7 days. Favorites are stored on your device, so deleting the app removes them.

Does my streak reset?

Your streak goes up by one each calendar day you open the app. If you miss a day, it starts again at 1. Your best streak is shown on your profile.

How do I turn sound on or off?

Open the menu and use the Sound switch.

How do I sign in to Game Center?

Game Center is optional. Sign in from your profile in the app’s menu, or in iOS Settings > Game Center. When you’re signed in, your Game Center alias and photo appear on your profile.

How do I add the widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit > Add Widget, then search for Zag’s Brain Games. The widget shows today’s word, fact, riddle or rebus, in small and medium Home Screen sizes and Lock Screen sizes.

Where are my achievements?

Tap the achievements pill on the home screen. You earn them for streaks and for playing the daily games.

What about my privacy?
